FAQs

Can I have Wooden blinds in my bathroom or kitchen?

The high levels of moisture and humidity found in bathrooms and kitchens can warp wooden products and fade colour, so we would not recommend wooden venetian blinds for these areas. You could consider a faux wood alternative using vinyl shutters for a similar look.

Are Wooden blinds blackout?

While Wooden blinds will considerably reduce the amount of light there may still be minute gaps along horizontal and vertical edges where light can seep through.

How do I clean wooden blinds?

Wooden blinds can be cleaned with a dry clean cloth. Tilt each slat downwards until flat, wipe, then tilt the slat upwards and repeat. Any stubborn marks on a slat should be gently dabbed with a barely damp cloth to avoid damaging either the finish or the wood itself.
