We do everything we can to ensure our products are safe for children and animals, including offering options for cord-free operation on our blinds where possible. Our blinds all meet European Standards BS EN 13120 as a minimum. All our corded blinds will be installed with a safety device to comply with current legislative requirements, so you can be assured our products are not only high quality but also safe. SmartCord® blinds feature a retractable pull cord that maintains a constant length at all times.

We are very proud of the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each and every blind we make, which is why we offer a five-year guarantee on materials and workmanship on our Silhouette® blinds giving you reassurance that we will repair or replace any faults that have not been caused by accidental damage, misuse or normal wear and tear.

What are Silhouette® Blinds?

Silhouette® Blinds feature soft adjustable S-shaped fabric vanes between two sheer fabric panels. These panels diffuse harsh sunlight and the tilt of the vanes gives you the desired level of light and privacy.

What are the benefits of Silhouette® Blinds?

Silhouette® Window Shadings transform harsh direct sunlight into soft light while maintaining a clear view. The soft S-vanes can be tilted to achieve precise light control and when closed, the S-vanes and two sheer fabric panels obscure the view into your home while still providing you a soft diffused view of the outside world.

Do they provide UV protection?

Yes. Silhouette® Blinds provide up to 88% UV protection with open vanes, while with closed vanes, the shades provide up to 99% UV protection.

What fabric opacity is available for Silhouette® Blinds?

Silhouette® Blinds are available with Translucent or Light Dimming opacities.

How are Silhouette® Blinds operated?

Silhouette® Blinds come with UltraGlide® a single retractable cord that always remains at a constant length when raising and lowering your blind. We also offer PowerView®, a wireless operating system that allows you to control or schedule your Pirouette® Blind via remote control, through an app on your smart device, or via home voice activation system.

Do the blinds come with a guarantee?

All Silhouette® blinds come with a five-year guarantee, reflecting our commitment to our customers long after blind installation.

What fabric are the blinds made from?

Silhouette® fabrics are made from 100% Polyester. The fabric consists of three opacities fused together to create soft horizontal opaque vanes suspended between two grades of sheer panels to the front and back. This combination provides colour and texture, plus total light control and privacy.
