Here at Thomas Sanderson, we REALLY enjoy being generous with our customers. Whether it’s our current offers (which include 3 for 2 with an extra £100 off window shutters* , completely free roof blinds with every purchase of conservatory shutters*), OR giving out free tickets to events.
Our “Britain’s Best Conservatory” competition ran throughout the whole of June and attracted lots of attention and pins – however we had to choose these two because they were simply the best!
Therefore, we’re pleased to announce the winners of our Pinterest competition are Lucinda Barton and Jenny Edwards. We really loved both of your entries, ladies!
The rules of the competition
Our competition was designed to test your creativity and originality by asking you to Pin various interior décor pictures to our board.
The idea was simple – we invited users to fill the board up with stylish items that you would happily put in your own conservatory. We were looking for people who tackled this project in a really unique way.
The winner was awarded the honour of attending one of the prestigious RHS shows completely for free, so it was well worth a shot!
Both successful entries were awarded with tickets to either RHS Hampton Court or RHS Tatton Park, depending where they lived in the UK.
RHS Hampton Court
RHS Hampton Court is one of the South’s favourite RHS events (except for Chelsea of course!), and it takes place on Royal grounds that date back hundreds of years.
There was lots to see and do, such as the RHS Anniversary Maze and the VertiGarden Celebration Cake, made from 3,456 plants! The event ran from the 29th June – 5th July and attracted hundreds of visitors in the process.
The winner of this pair of tickets was Lucinda Barton. She said, “We had a wonderful time, thank you! I felt very amazed and delights to have won… and slightly shocked!
We loved the Fryers roses’ garden and also Growing Obsession. The boys of course loved the Winnie the Pooh garden.”
We’re so glad you had a good time, Lucinda!
RHS Tatton Park
Jenny Edwards was our Northern winner, and she will be attending the RHS Tatton Park show later this month, from 22nd – 26th July.
Set in stunning Cheshire, this year the Tatton Park show has a carnival theme – we are sure Jenny is going to have a fantastic time with her pair of tickets.
If you are attending RHS Tatton Park, we’d recommend going to see the Year of Light Gardens, three innovative gardens designed to work in harmony with this natural energy source.
And don’t forget to share your photos onto our RHS Tatton Park board! Pin them here.
We really enjoyed looking at all of your entries, and it was really hard to pick the two above winners out of all the fantastic entries we had.
However, with the success of this competition we are sure to be having another one pretty soon. That’s why you should follow us on Facebook and Twitter – so you don’t miss any important announcements.
We’re always giving out freebies, and have deals and offers all the time on our bespoke blinds and shutters – next time it could be you and your family that get the day out!
