Nigel Campkin
Deputy Managing Director
Typically what does your position involve?
My job is to make sure that all areas of the business knit together seamlessly, delivering to and beyond the promises that we make to our customers.
Along with the rest of the senior management team, I am responsible for developing and implementing the strategies of the business as it moves forward growing evolving and developing in the ever changing world and market places as we strive to give more people the opportunity of enhancing their homes through the “Thomas Sanderson experience” of product purchase, from design through to delivery and installation.
Put simply my job is to make sure we stay number one at what we do and find new areas in which to become number one.
What do you think is the main reason Thomas Sanderson products and services are so highly regarded?
We don’t do just good enough we must be the best. If we can’t do this we would rather do nothing.
We think beyond product we aim to deliver the lifestyle that sits beyond them.
We are at our best when we are leading the way.
Attention to detail is at the heart of everything that we do, it’s not just the customer that we have to please it is ourselves.
If we can’t do it we won’t and we are happy to say so, we do not make false promises to win the business and then under deliver.
We will not compromise standards, if they do not exist in a market in which we operate we create them and then stick by them.
Expertise – we are world leaders in innovation in all of the markets that we serve.
Because we deal directly with the end user, we are involved directly in the product design, its manufacture and installation we are unique in many of the markets we operate in.

What do you like about working at Thomas Sanderson?
I like the challenge of keeping Thomas Sanderson at the top of the market. The whole company is so focused on success and results and we are all constantly raising the bar of expectation for our customers and us.

Our customers are constantly telling us that in an age when Customer Service has been handed over to offshore automated call centres it’s great to deal with a company that does what it claims to do, has a human touch and takes great pride in its work and reputation.
