Window Shutters - Classic
Sometimes referred to as traditional shutters, the panels of this style cover the entire window or door and is particularly suitable when maximum privacy is required.
When a panel exceeds a certain height a mid-rail is introduced, this is to provide additional strength to the panel and prevent warping. The use of this mid-rail allows the louvre above and below the rail to be operated independently and so gives greater flexibility.
This style of window shutter is particularly beautiful in doorways and larger windows and can be stunning when used with large louvre sizes.
