Conservatory blinds 'should be kept clean'

18/08/2010

Those looking to ensure that their conservatory gets the highest amount of natural light possible should make efforts to keep their conservatory blinds clean.

Such is the assertion of Powermode chief executive Philip Hampton, who states that people keen to get as much natural light into their home as possible should make sure that their windows and blinds are kept clean.

Homeowners purchasing conservatory blinds might also want to bear in mind his advice to "opt for angled blinds to direct sunlight towards work areas where possible".

People buying conservatory blinds in an effort to maximise their property's energy efficiency should also consider his assertions that draught excluders and insulation should be replaced on a regular basis.

And there could be even further demand to purchase conservatory blinds over the coming weeks, Mirfield-based Visual Effect Conservatories recently claimed that an increasing number of homeowners are investing in such glazed extensions in an effort to make the most of their property.
