Technical
Here is some technical information on our range of metal venetian conservatory blinds:
Conservatory blind hardware
Extruded from aluminium, there are three colours to choose from to match your conservatory style. White and brown hardware is finished with a tough epoxy powder coating, whilst the silver option has a clear matt anodised finish.
All plastic components are manufactured using UV stabilised materials which are essential for the conservatory and are colour coordinated to the metal hardware.
Slats
Formed from extruded aluminium, the metal venetian conservatory blind is available with 25mm width slats available in over 90 painted finishes, perfect for any conservatory colour scheme.
Bead-fit screwless fitting
Thomas Sanderson Metal Venetian Conservatory Blinds are fitted without the need for screwing into the conservatory. Fitting is achieved by attaching the blind to brackets designed to slide between the glass and rubber bead of each window, this enables a simple fitting of the conservatory blind within minutes!
Screw fixing
Should a blind need to be screwed into the conservatory window or door, a simple small fixing plug will be anchored into the bottom of the window to secure the blind and provide the necessary tension.
Operating the conservatory blinds
Adjusting the metal venetian slats is achievable by a small tilt slider attached to the headrail of the blind. Simply move the slider horizontally to control the slats. This avoids the need for untidy free hanging rods and cords.
If the blind is fitted into a difficult to reach position, your conservatory blind will come with an operating wand.
