Conservatory Blinds - Remote Control
(Remote) control at your fingertips
Traditionally, conservatory blinds have been operated with cords and strings which can often be quite awkward especially when you consider a typical conservatory can have around 20-30 blinds. But that’s where Thomas Sanderson PowerPleat™ remote control comes in.
Since its launch in 1998, PowerPleat™ developed exclusively by Thomas Sanderson and Somfy, the world leaders in home automation, has become a leading feature of our conservatory blinds and includes the following benefits:
Ultra-slim and discreet motors
Of course, operating a remote controlled blind requires a motor. Each individual blind has its own motor which is slim and discreet. In fact, the PowerPleat™ rails we have developed are only 7mm wider than a standard conservatory blind rail, so you won’t have to compromise on neatness either. Plus we’ve life tested our PowerPleat™ system to over 10,000 cycles, that’s enough to potentially last you well over 10 years!
Radio controlled, not infra-red
Being radio controlled, your conservatory blinds can be operated from practically anywhere in your home.
Multi-zone control
PowerPleat™ conservatory blinds can be programmed into ‘zones’ that are set during your installation. You may not always want to use all of your blinds at the same time, so our advanced system allows you to decide in which areas of your conservatory you want to operate the blinds at any one time.
Optional 7-day event timer
Conservatory blind automation at its best. Using a simple to programme timer, your blinds can even control themselves by opening and closing at your own pre-set times. Perfect if you are away from home and want to give the impression that you are in.
