Pinoleum Conservatory Blinds - Technical
Here is some technical information on our range of pinoleum conservatory blinds:
Conservatory blind hardware
Our 20mm manual conservatory blind hardware discreetly accommodates all the internal components of your pinoleum blinds to deal with the complex shapes and sizes of your blinds, ensuring neatness all the way round your room. All our conservatory blind rails are produced from high-grade aluminium which is extruded and powder coated to provide you with a high quality, long lasting finish. For the plastic components that are necessary in your blind, these are stabilised to ensure they won’t become brittle or fade over time.
Motorised drive mechanism
Due to the weight of pinoleum conservatory blinds we typically offer automated blinds. Many other conservatory blind companies will need to use industrial drive mechanisms that are mounted behind the fabric that are sometimes in view. We have incorporated all our mechanisms into the small headrail, with the fabric hiding it out of view.
Brackets
We’ve designed an exclusive range of brackets that enable the hardware (rails) to be installed into the most difficult and awkward areas of the conservatory. These brackets are produced from zinc plated steel and powder coated.
Maximum blind widths for window blinds
We can handcraft a remote control conservatory window blind up to 4m wide and 3m drop.
PowerPleat™ remote control
We’ve developed the use of radio technology in our remote control conservatory blind system as it offers the ultimate convenience and flexibility as your conservatory blinds can be operated by the neat handset or optional wall switch from practically anywhere in the home. Plus, the added benefit of our PowerPleat™ conservatory blind system is that your blinds can be ‘zoned’ or grouped into chosen zones to operate individually or in sequence as well as working with our optional 7-day timer control.
Pinoleum conservatory blind fabrics
Pinoleum fabrics are carefully crafted from a selection of small slats of wooden materials woven together to create a range of unique fabric features, styles and designs. All of our fabrics are suitable for conservatory windows and we have coordinating options available for the conservatory roof.
All our pinoleum conservatory blinds are woven together using durable pre-dyed yarns of polyester and cotton.
In keeping with the natural look that pinoleum creates in your conservatory, all edges of the blinds are finished with polyester edging tape woven on both sides of the blind. These are available in a wide choice of colours for you to choose from.
A ‘finishing’ bottom bar is also added to the bottom of each blind, again, available in a wide variety of colours. This decorative and coordinating bar not only finishes the blind to perfection, it also helps reduce fabric warping.
